Cha Cha Cha Chia

I officially feel like a chia pet every morning when I wake up! My belly is finally starting to show and we are loving it!! I've been hunting the sale racks for maternity clothes, and I must say, Im doing a pretty good job!! My mother also loves to buy me clothes and I've recieved multiple cute outfits from her that I love!! The best prices that I've found are at Old Navy and Motherhood online! I think the most expensive (sadly) is Target...who would have thought that?! Last night was a very exciting night for us...well, me! We recieved our baby bedding from walmart! It's so cute and very suttle! Matt was happy, because he didnt want anything too vibrant!! Now all I want to do is decorate:) I've also been hunting the sale racks, along with my mother, for baby clothes!! They're all soooo cute! My favorite place to shop for baby clothes is a little consignment shop accross the street from us called 'Buttons, Bows and Britches' (I think)!! I went in there on saturday and bought a ton of stuff, including booties and pajamas, for only $20! I'm sure I'll be back multiple times to shop for baby clothes:) I must say, my mother is spoiling me and the baby through this pregnancy...Everyday when I talk to her, she's bought some new adorable outfit for baby svoboda! I cant wait to see them all:)

Well, tonight me and Matt are getting our pictures done in cherokee park by Jason Coobs!! Hopefully it doesnt rain! As soon as we get them back I'll be sure to post some of them on here! but for now...here are is my stomach at 20 weeks, 3 days!

Also...Here's whats going on with baby swobes this week:
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

And here is a pic of how big and strong he is:)I can feel him moving around constantly now and I LOVE IT!! It is my favorite thing!!

Meredith,

You left your sunglasses at my house last Sunday, so I will hang on to them for you. Have a great trip to Omaha and take care of the little "banana." Also you might want to change the due date to 2009 instead of 2008 in the section "about us".

with love,
Kathy (aka KK)
